Ron was born and raised in a small town in rural Northern Ohio, where he still lives with his wife, three children and lovingly remembers
his late son, Ryan. He grew up between the natural beauty and wildlife
of Malabar Farm and Mohican State Forest. Ron is inspired by his closeness
and love for nature. This gives him the calmness and insight to paint his
wildlife with conviction. Although Ron has painted wildlife most of his
life, he has recently ventured into painting figuratives and portraits
which he finds most satisfying. His paintings come in a variety of mediums.
Ron is a self-taught artist. He painted part-time for the last 25 years
while working at a local factory as a press operator. Ron was a single
father raising three small children and found very little time to pursue
his passion.
Fast forward to today; a supportive wife, one child leaving for the Air
Force and one at home, his dream to create beautiful works of art on a full-time basis has finally come true. The journey of his ability to paint
is one of sacrifice, courage and devotion to his first love, his family and
his second love, painting. |
